Celebrate New Year's Eve "Canadiana" style in Niagara Falls this year! In honour of Canada's 150th Birthday, our Niagara Falls New Year's Eve Party by the Falls will be featuring some of the best artists in Canada:

Juno-Winning Rockers Marianas Trench Marianas Trench have emerged as one of Canada’s most popular rock bands since their debut album in 2006. The band’s most recent album, 2015’s Astoria, peaked at #2 on the Canadian album charts.

Multi-platinum-selling Simple Plan Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal Quebec. This multi-platinum band has released five studio albums. No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls became a commercial success and was certified multi-platinum in Canada and the United States and platinum in Australia.

Rising Country Star Jess Moskaluke  Jess Moskaluke, from Saskatchewan, made her mark in Canadian country with the 2014 single Cheap Wine and Cigarettes. She also won Country Album of the Year at this year’s Juno Awards for Kiss Me Quiet.

Ontario Country Act, the James Barker Band The James Barker Band consists of James Barker, Taylor Abram, Connor Stephen, and Bobby Martin. In 2015, they won the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Boots and Hearts music festival and the following year, they were signed to Universal Music Canada. The group is best known for their top 10 singles "Lawn Chair Lazy" and "Just Sayin".

The Niagara Falls New Year's Eve free outdoor concert brings together family and friends from around the world to celebrate the annual tradition of ringing in the New Year in one of the most spectacular places in the world. So bundle up with your family and friends in tow and get ready to listen to some amazing tunes from some pretty spectacular Canadian artists - with the breathtaking Niagara Falls as your backdrop. The fun starts at 8pm in Queen Victoria Park with fireworks taking place at 9pm and midnight.

With the focus being on Canada's 150th Birthday, the hope is that Canadians will be able to watch portions of the concert televised on CBC. The celebration will also likely include a midnight countdown to 2018 hosted by the one and only, Rick Mercer. Details will be confirmed soon, so stay tuned.

From the Winter Festival of Lights, which truly is a Winter Wonderland, with over 2 Million twinkling lights over an 8km route to the Laser Light Show which starts December 22nd and runs until January 7th.
