Fun Things to Do in Niagara Falls for Couples (This Fall)

Calling all couples who need to add a little spice (pumpkin spice seems applicable here) in their life?! As a couple there are tons of fun things happening in Niagara Falls this Fall. And if you haven’t been to the beautiful region of Niagara, now is the perfect time. Plus, it’s a quieter time in Niagara and ideal for some much needed “we time.”

From wineries and attractions, to a little one-on-one time with nature and hotel sleeps, Niagara is the place to be this Fall.

Hiking Fun

The Niagara Glen hiking trail is a hidden gem. It’s a little bundle of nature, fun and beauty all wrapped into one big adventure. The Niagara Glen is located in the Niagara Gorge. Just look for the steel staircase. It is the stairway to some heavenly trails (4km to be more precise). You’ll pass some beautiful and prehistoric geological formations, wild plants and cute critters along your way to the breathtaking beauty of the Class 5 Niagara River Rapids and the Niagara River Whirlpool.

And after your hike, you can kick things up in the romance department with a little picnic along the parkway. We’ll leave the creativity up to you.

Grape Fun

Did we have you at wine? The Niagara Region has over 70 wineries to choose from and that number is always growing. So, choose your own adventure. Do you like red, white or rose? Sparkling or a full-bodied wine? There's a winery for every palate.

Here is a list of all the Niagara wineries, categorized by a specific region or theme. We recommend planning four or five winery stops during your visit. We promise it will be a big hit.

If you are planning to come in September, we’d recommend checking out the Niagara Wine Festival Discovery Pass experience which runs from September 11th – 27th. It’s your chance to taste your way through eight winery and culinary experiences (sounds delicious...it sure is).

Beer (Hopping Good Fun)

If wine is not your thing, there are lots of craft breweries hopping up in the Region.

Oast House

Silversmith Brewing Company

NEW! Blackburn Brew House and Food Truck Fun

Inner Child Fun

Howell’s

It’s more than just a pumpkin patch. It’s a place where you can connect with your inner child. Enjoy the la-la land of endless sunflowers and a beer and wine garden with some delicious treats (butter tarts, sweet potato fries, nachos and all sorts of poutine). And you can bet you'll spot a few pumpkins during this adventure.

Hotel Sleeps are soooo Fun

Check out our packages at the Courtyard Marriott Niagara Falls. There’s one night (for a quick and fun getaway). Two night package for a little more fun and exploration. The couples package, which has "coupley" things - (it’s a word we promise, just check the urban dictionary), like a bottle of wine, a dinner voucher for our delicious Keg that we were just talking about and lots of fun wine tasting experiences.
